Our estate grown Syrah is named after our demanding and mischievous rescue pug.
Our Syrah vines thrive in our rocky, volcanic soil.
Rating it 90-92+, Robert Parker describes Pugsley as showing "an inky/purple color, loads of crushed/powdered stone and floral notes, but also copious quantities of blackberry and blueberry fruit. It is a deep, rich, full-bodied and multidimensional wine that should drink well for 10-15 years."
The second vintage of Pugsley has been crafted exclusively from Syrah grown on our estate on Atlas Peak in Napa Valley. Like its' namesake this wine is one of a kind and will leave you with a perpetual grin.
Pugsley Wine Information
Pugsley is our signature Atlas Peak Syrah.
Both the 2013 & 2014 vintages are crafted from grapes grown on our estate on Atlas Peak.
Syrah from Atlas Peak is particularly evocative of the rocky volcanic soil, which predominates our vineyards.
As such, it has a pleasing minerality; coupled with luscious fruit characteristics of blackberry and blueberry.
Named after our mischievous rescue Pug, Malbec, this wine is one of a kind and full of spice and spunk.
